OK folks, I'm off. You've probably not really noticed that I haven't posted here in ever - additionally, I've not posted any content in ever plus months. It's not what it was, round here, and I haven't got the time to do my bit to bring it back. A random defriending today (wtf?) just made me think that I need to draw a line under LJ and move on.
I'll still be reading because for some of you lovely people, this is the only contact with you I have. And I'll still be commenting from time-to-time. But if you're at all bothered, I'll be:

It's been a mad five years. I started with a divorce and ended up with a new marriage; two happy and healthy and beautiful kids; a baby on the way (only six weeks to go now, and my gut feeling's that it'll be sooner than that). I've jumped from an average job at a crap company to a brilliant job at a brilliant academic department to an even-more-brilliant job at a brilliant company. I've brought my highest and lowest moments to this place and shared them with you - but over the last six months or so, it's pretty much flatlined. Let's put it out of its misery.
